Go in Tokyo

This evening, I was led to a neighborhood go/shogi center, where I taught a recently-made friend the basics of how to play go. I wish I'd had time to practice my explanation, as it was rough, but by the end, she was quite captivated by the game and was beginning to understand what's so interesting about it. Dang right.

She did well making life in the lower right.

On the way back home, I stopped by a random nearby restaurant and sat at the bar. (It was kind of a self-challenge.) I ended up talking to another gentleman sitting at the bar and the apparent owner of the establishment for a bit as I ate. It was a good experience for me.
