| I was late today

This morning, I woke up at 8:40. Despite that, I was only one minute late for class. But I didn't have time to eat breakfast, so all through class my head was swimming. And, of course, today we covered our toughest grammar to date: the passive tense. I studied it in America, but it seems tougher now for some reason. This stuff'll mess you up.

Stay tuned for a big (but not too big) post about my Obon holiday.

Hi, I (a German studying Japanese on my own x_X) like your blog very much! :-)
I found my way here through jref forums.
I would like to know some background information like how old are you (maybe you've written it somewhere but I couldn't find it right now), for how long have you been learning Japanese before you went to Japan, did you get a scholarship or do you pay everything on your own?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm really curious! :-)

Hi, Sequa, and thanks for the compliment. Allow me to answer your questions:

1. I'm 28 years old.

2. I studied on my own for about one year at a very relaxed pace, and I studied only grammar. (I think that this was a pretty good move on my part.)

3. I didn't receive any third-party financial aid.

Let me know if you have any other pressing questions. And keep visiting, eh.
